The Road Less Travelled
You may be accustomed to finding our traditional line, priced to be affordable to the middle class. We would love to be making it and also to be teaching others how to make our line but, alas, we do not currently have a production and training studio. To raise funds for a studio we are putting our vintage collection of rare, one of a kind and original design prototypes on the market. To learn more, follow our blog, Andersen Studio Evolution Diaries. We love this process and are committed to seeing it continue for the benefit of future makers.
The Tall Modulus Column Vase stands 16 inched tall and leans slightly when veiwd from some angles like the Tower of Pisa.or a reed bending in the wind, whether that be its beauty or its distraction is in the eye of the beholder.
The original modules were had crafted by Weston as a variation of the simple Tall Column Vase. Andersen vases are all handcrafted from raw materials which are made into our casting body, glazes and decorating colors. This original mid-century design remains a classic in time. As the day changes it is understated simplicity in motion, a beautiful form to catch the light.
