This very rare sugar bowl very rare made sometime in the late forties and early fifties It was not used in the production line.
The bowl and glaze are design and crafted by Weston Neil Andersen, thought to have been produced when Weston had access to facilities at the Akron Art Institute, in Ohio in where he was Dean of the art school. The glaze is unusual matte purple on the exterior and matte black on the interior, The bowl is about 4 inches in diameter.
